Jekko unveils JF545 V-Max, versatility turned into a machine
With the new V-Max, Jekko paves the way to new applications for its bestselling JF545 model. V for versatility, Max for maximum. Not a pun but the latest proposal by Jekko: the new version of the JF545 articulated crawler crane – flagship of the Treviso-based company – raises the bar of versatile and multitasking machines to the very top with the optional installation of even more tools than the standard version. NEW DEDICATED HYDRAULIC LINES MEAN MORE TOOLS The trump card of the new JF545 V-Max is a jib fitting a wide range of tools whose operation require elevated quantity and pressure of oil such as an auger, a grapple saw or a clamshell bucket. An additional and independent hydraulic circuit with cooling radiator prevents oil overheating during operation and keeps a constant temperature even during intensive hydraulic use. This innovative and unequalled solution ensures a more effective and professional exploitation of the tools.   ALL THE ADVANTAGES OF THE JF545 MODEL The V-Max version features all the characteristics of the JF545 standard model, highly appreciated by the sector insiders: endless stabilization configurations, compact size for maximum accessibility in confined spaces, great lifting capacity (15.5 t) combined with outstanding reach (28 m), elevated maximum operating height (30 m), triple articulated boom (when jib is installed), removable counterweight, precise and smooth operation for the most delicate tasks. The use of all the options available for the JF545 is still possible: the work platform and the man basket, the vacuum manipulator for glazed panes and the winch, among many others.   COMPETITIVE EDGE The operator of a JF545 V-Max can choose from a wide range of applications. The standard model is already strongly versatile and it easily adapts to manifold operational environments but the V-Max version allows for even more vast and varied applications: from its traditional use in constructions, industry, logistics and handling or laying in confined spaces to more innovative uses with the grapple saw such as in green areas maintenance. “The JF545 V-Max has a huge potential and we believe it will be a very catchy solution for both our established customers and new buyers. We’re already receiving many requests – remarks Alberto Franceschini, Jekko’s Export Manager. – While developing this version, we’ve been inspired by the concept of multi-tool machine, extremely versatile, professional and suitable to be used with many different tools still being user-friendly. In short, a perfect mate for no matter what daily challenge!”   CASE HISTORY A new approach to green space management with the JF545 V-Max and the grapple saw

A step forward in the German market with Jekko Deutschland
Italian mini cranes manufacturer Jekko is glad to announce the establishment of a new subsidiary in Germany: the company will be named Jekko Deutschland and will allow a more widespread presence in the German speaking areas. 15 years have already passed since the first Jekko mini crane landed in Germany. From that moment on, the German market has become increasingly important and now Jekko mini cranes are widely appreciated, also thanks to the precious work of NordKran, Jekko’s official dealer for Germany and Austria in the past five years. The strategic importance gained by the market and the wish of having a more direct supervision of the German speaking areas led Jekko to the decision of establishing a subsidiary in Germany, named Jekko Deutschland and headquartered in Witten. Besides Jekko, the new company has two other shareholders: Mr. Carsten Bielefeld, formerly Sales Agent at NordKran, and Mr. Andreas Krome of Lift Service Krome, which manages Jekko after sales services in Germany. NordKran will keep on supporting Jekko as a dealer in Northern Germany.   Jekko’s CEO, Mr. Diego Tomasella, expresses full satisfaction with the new project: “With the establishment of Jekko Deutschland we want to make a step forward in the German market, which has always been attractive and challenging for Jekko due to its high quality demand. We have done a very good job in the last 5 years with our partner NordKran, that will remain not only our local dealer for a wide region in the Northern Germany but will extend and improve its products and services range for its customers. Our goal will the local company Jekko Deutschland is to be more reactive and present both in sales and after sales for all kind of customers, from a single end user to a big rental company. Jekko’s range is growing with the introduction of a wide range of products and we believe that the German market will react in a positive way to our proposals.”   Mr. Alberto Franceschini, Jekko Export Manager, adds: “This decision is not exclusively a matter of sales. The German customer has always shown appreciation for the technology, the refinement and the stylistic choices of a Made in Italy product such as Jekkos. The German market requires high levels of reliability, responsiveness and customer support. We wanted to raise the bar on the quality of our service for our valued German customers and the only way was to have a direct presence and to rely on industry professionals such as Carsten Bielefeld, Andreas Krome and Maik Buchtmann. We believe that end users will benefit from this choice and Jekko brand reputation will be improved as well. On the other hand, when Italian fantasy and creativity meet German pragmatism and organisation only great things can happen!”.    “Thanks to the activities carried out by NordKran in the last five years, Jekko has earned an important place in the German market. Our goal from the beginning was to become market leader in a short time, now the goal is in sight and Jekko has to do the next step forward.- comments Mr. Bielefeld – I am happy to be part of this new team. Together with NordKran and new Jekko Deutschland we will send the strong and clear message that our goal is a much stronger presence in Germany and Austria. With NordKran as our dealer in the North we have a great partner at our side.”  Talking about future projects, he adds: “The plan is to find some more dealers in the other parts of Germany and Austria, to give the best support to all customers and to bridge the distance.”   After sales service plays an important role in the project too and in this regard Mr. Andreas Krome says: “I’m very happy to be a part of the restructuring of sales & support for Jekko products in Germany and I will be deeply committed to the successful implementation of the team’s goals. Our task, into which we have already grown in recent years, will be the technical support of Jekko cranes in connection with the spare parts supply. Supporting our customers with all the necessary information to ensure a long, efficient and safe use of Jekko mini cranes will be our main focus of activity. We are convinced that a good exchange and trustful communication between the after-sales department in Italy, our customers and us is indispensable for this.”   On his part, Mr. Maik Buchtmann underlines the full commitment of NordKran: “We look forward to the cooperation and the opportunities that arise with the establishment of Jekko Deutschland. The new role as a dealer in Northern Germany and in the area reaching up to Berlin has great potential for us. With locations in Delmenhorst, Hamburg and Papenburg, we see ourselves well equipped for the new situation. The possibility of further expanding the end customer business and finding special solutions with customers is becoming increasingly important. The motto is “quality instead of quantity”. We look forward to a close, respectful and cooperative partnership between Jekko Deutschland and NordKran as well as to the contact with Jekko in Italy that has existed for over five years. Due to the current Covid 19 pandemic, the forecast for the machine trade is still being worked out. A fleet of storage machines is of course available for immediate delivery. The NordKran and Buchtmann group currently has more than 30 mini cranes for rent and in stock.”

SPX650: all the cranes you need
The new multifaceted mini crane by Jekko has finally arrived and was officially presented on 30th July with a live streaming event. Jekko has welcomed the latest addition to its range, SPX650, the 5 ton mini crane with a maximum reachable height of 23.5 m (with jib) which embodies many state-of-the-art innovations and promises to become a flagship model of the Treviso-based company. Thanks to the experience gained over the last two years with SPX532 and SPX1280, Jekko could concentrate in one machine the best features and the most advanced technical solutions already successfully applied in the two best-selling models. SPX650 boasts cutting edge stabilisation and hydraulic systems, new hydraulic jib and runner jib (with plug & play attachment), a lithium battery power supply and a handy radio remote control. Besides that, the crane features other important functionalities such as the possibility of working either with hook or winch, the extendable tracks, the availability of pick & carry mode and the telemetry system J-Connect. And all this without neglecting the design and quality materials, with a close attention to detail. “The idea behind new SPX650 comes from the market needs. – explains Mr. Alberto Franceschini, Jekko Export Sales Manager – Our customers were looking for medium size mini crane, with a length of the boom over 20 m and a very good lifting capacity. Operators were asking for a crane that can work both indoor and outdoor, suitable in many job sites: glazing, curtain walls  installation, steel erection, industrial maintenance. So we analysed both what the competition was offering and our own range, and the result is SPX650”. A SOPHISTICATED HYDRAULIC SYSTEM SPX650 can count on a 100% electronically-operated supply system with PVG 16 proportional bank valves by Danfoss, the same of SPX532 and SPX1280, which allows smooth and accurate crane movements and the possibility of working simultaneously with four functions. “The heart of the hydraulic system is a load sensing piston pump, driven by our own power management control: this can guarantee the operator all the crane’s power, speed and control he needs, with the minimum consumption required” clarifies Mr. Marco Zava, Jekko R&D Director.   NEW STABILISATION SYSTEM FOR ENDLESS OPERATING CONFIGURATIONS From the bigger SPX1280, SPX650 inherits also the new stabilisation system, entirely and directly controlled by radio remote control. The crane is equipped with X-pattern outriggers with double extension (by cylinder and chains) to reduce the minimum stability area (2.9 x 2.9 m; 4.5 x 4.5 m the maximum area). Stabilisers feature also hydraulic rotation from 0° to 72° and a double regulation position of their height, for the maximum flexibility while operating in confined areas. The system considers several factors in order to determine the possible working conditions: depending on the opening angle and extension of the stabilisers, the software can define in real time the maximum safe working load in a specific point, with 5 total stability levels.     GREENER AND MORE EFFICIENT POWER SUPPLY BY LITHIUM BATTERIES SPX650 is equipped with a custom designed 48 V lithium battery pack with a capacity of 400 Ah, which powers a 16 kW three-phase electrical engine. Thanks to the 220 V single-phase charger on board the machine it is possible to work under charge; an external 400 V three-phase charger is also available as option. Lithium battery supply requires no maintenance and batteries can last for the whole crane’s life. Moreover, it allows unchanged and constant performance even in case of intense use with heavy loads, not to mention the possibility of operating indoor without any kind of emission. “This testifies to Jekko’s attention towards the environmental issues”, underlines Franceschini. In order to satisfy all market requirements, from next year SPX650 can also be configured with a diesel engine paired with three-phase electric motor.     NEW 1.2-TONS HYDRAULIC JIB The crane features a new 1.2 tons hydraulic jib with 3 extensions (1 hydraulic, 2 by chain) to achieve a maximum reachable height of 23.5 metres and a new 2-tons runner jib, ideal in glass installation. The jib can be stored in three ways, as in SPX532: at rest on the column, on the ground or under the main boom. Rest position under the main boom means significant reduction in jib installation and disassembly times. Last but not least, the jib can work with a negative angle up to 15°, for a greater application versatility.   PRACTICAL RADIO REMOTE CONTROL Everything is in the operator’s hands with the practical radio remote control, which is the same of SPX532 and SPX1280. It features LCD display and a software developed internally by Jekko; using selectors that link to intuitive screens it allows to directly activate or deactivate all crane functions: boom and winch speed, crane’s configuration selection (pick & carry, crane, outrigger ascent and descent, tracks) and manipulator.   COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE SPX650 was designed to enter a market segment which is currently not covered, the one of 5 tons maximum lifting capacity cranes, bridging the gap between the SPX532 and SPX1280. The model stands out for the variety of applications it allows: glazing works, residential construction, civil engineering, industrial maintenance, maritime industry, aviation, oil and chemical industries, and many others. “We believe that SPX650 will meet the needs of our customers thanks to all the cutting edge technical solutions it implements, combined with many important features such as versatility, high performances and compact size at the same time, small stabilisation area, ease of use, and last but not least the lithium battery power supply. – adds Franceschini – Moreover, the standardisation of hydraulic, electronic and software components, which fit SPX532 and SPX180 models too, will make after sales service definitely easier. The first units of SPX650 will be available starting from the end of 2020 and for all of the abovementioned reasons we have high sales expectations”. “We were supposed to present SPX650 at Apex exhibition last June but the fair was postponed to 2021 due to the current health emergency, so we had to find an alternative solution and we decided to organise a live streaming presentation. It was a natural choice: Jekko is a young company, with a fresh communication style and a strong presence on social media channels. Consistent with this image, SPX650 features also a gritty and eye-catching design, because we think that cranes can be not only useful, but also beautiful” ends Mrs. Chiara Bellina, Jekko Marketing Manager.

SPX650, the new Jekko 5-ton crane is coming soon
Jekko is welcoming a new addition to the family of mini cranes with the SPX650. The long-awaited new model has a maximum lifting capacity of 5 tons and embodies all the latest major innovations engineered by the Treviso-based company. The new SPX650 implements many state-of-the-art technical solutions successfully applied to the recent and highly appreciated SPX532 and SPX1280. Having set aside the original idea of presenting machine officially at the Apex trade fair in Maastricht, which has been postponed from June this year to June 2021 due to the Covid-19 health emergency, Jekko will be introducing the new SPX650 to the world during a live streaming event next July. We can take a sneak peek of some of the main features and functions of the machine ahead of the event.     The SPX650 has a new 1.2-ton hydraulic jib with three extensions and a new 2-ton runner jib to achieve a maximum reachable height of 23.5 metres. As with its smaller version SPX532, the jib can be arranged in three ways, namely on the ground or on the column, to allow the operator to work with the main arm, or hooked and folded under the main arm to allow the operator to work with the jib with no need for installation. The SPX650 also implements the new stabilization system introduced on the bigger SPX1280. According to the opening angle and extension of the stabilizers, as well as the possible use of ballast, the software can determine in real-time the maximum lifting capacity at a given point, for unlimited operating configurations. The stabilisers have a double extension for a very small minimum stabilisation area of 2.9 x 2.9 m (4.5 x 4.5 m is the maximum area). The new SPX650 also inherits the sophisticated hydraulic system from the SPX1280 allowing smooth and accurate crane movements and the possibility of working simultaneously with four functions. All the functions and movements of the crane and its accessories can be controlled directly from the practical remote control with software developed internally by Jekko and an intuitive user interface. Deliveries of the SPX650 will start in the second half of 2020. The lithium battery-powered version will be available immediately while from 2021 it can also be configured with a diesel engine paired with a single-phase or three-phase electric motor. “The SPX650 aims to further expand our range of mini cranes, bridging the gap between the SPX532 and SPX1280 in terms of maximum lifting capacity”, explains Alberto Franceschini, Export Sales Manager of Jekko. “This is yet another challenge won by Jekko. The extremely positive results obtained by the SPX532 and SPX1280 models confirm that the solutions we have proposed so far meet the needs of our customers with their features of versatility, high-performance combined with compact dimensions, small stabilization areas and ease of use, not to mention the growing attention to environmental issues related to the use of lithium batteries. In this project, we have concentrated the best of our technology developed so far, further improved, without neglecting the design and, of course, quality materials. But I don’t want to say too much just yet!” See you in July 2020 to meet the latest arrival, the SPX650!

MPK06, a new minipicker for new building yard requirements
The growing family of Jekko minipickers welcomes model MPK06, the new self-propelled electric crane that operates with either hook or manipulator A small machine is a great help while working. This is the promise by the newborn to the Jekko family: the MPK06 minipicker has compact size and limited weight yet it lifts up to 600 kg (1.322 lb) and serves the craft and the industrial sectors. “Model MPK06 is going to set the pace in the world of work – maintains Alessio Forcolin, Italian sales agent at Jekko – The requirements of building yards are evolving: skilled labour isn’t always available in the quantity needed but in the meanwhile loads to be hoisted increase, no matter the sector, be it glazing laying, craft or industry in general. The market was waiting for this new concept of minipickers: compact, lightweight and deploying elevated lifting capacity, and Jekko has met the challenge”. Go to product page   DESIGNED TO OPERATE WITH EITHER HOOK OR MANIPULATOR The MPK06 is the one and only minipicker that – in compliance with the EN13000 standards – has a dual operating mode, with a hook or a vacuum manipulator for glazing laying. Other unique features of this crane are the 360° continuous rotation of the manipulator and the 10° right-and-left electrical rotation of the turret, which moves the load to the sides still having quite a reduced overall size and enabling access to the most confined places.   100% ELECTRIC The machine is 100% electrically powered, both during travel and arm operation. It is fitted with a 3kW motor powered by 2 x 12V-155Ah traction batteries for constant performance during use. The electric motor is silent and emission-free for indoor operation; the new electric actuators, whose performance compares that of regular hydraulic cylinders, deliver up to three fast and smooth movements at a time without performance loss. The MPK06 has no hydraulic parts: this means lower maintenance costs and makes the crane ideal for work in the most sensitive contexts since oil leaks are prevented. The manipulator electric rotation and the electric extension of the second boom are available as an option.     EASY TO DRIVE AND OPERATE Easy to use, the MPK06 doesn’t require any specific training to be operated. The convenient drawbar on board the machine makes it easy to drive it; a user-friendly wired remote control is also available, which allows to travel on wheels in a straight line in combination with the mechanical block on the drawbar, making work easier and more accurate for the operator during installation.   REMOVABLE COUNTERWEIGHT   The MPK06 is fitted with a simple system of modular and removable counterweights accounting for a total of 200 kg (441 lb). They can be removed whenever the machine has to be hoisted with a crane or moved in a lift so its weight it brought down to as little as 720 kg (1.587 lb).       COMPETITIVE EDGE The unique features of this new minipicker by Jekko make it fit for several sectors. It is ideal not only for glazing laying and for the installation of windows and doors but also for the craft sector, for industrial maintenance and for the hiring business in general. Equipped with sturdy metal sheet housings and off-road run-flat tyres, the MPK06 faces the most challenging yard conditions. For indoor operations white no-marking tyres are available as an option. Compact in size and reduced in weight, this minipicker is ideal to be transported inside a regular van. “While developing the MPK06 we aimed at making the operator’s life easier and at improving the work conditions by means of a user-friendly, top-performance yet inexpensive machine,” ends Mr Forcolin.

JF990: The crawler crane is even more powerful
After the successful JF365 a new, more performing model hits the market and offers superior lifting capacity still within the overall dimensions of a “non-oversized” transport. The crawler crane by Jekko grows up, not in terms of dimensions but rather in performance, capacity and innovation. After the sales success of models JF545 and JF365, Jekko has once again raised the bar and offers a crawler crane featuring all the characteristics of the F990 by Fassi. That’s how the JF990 has been developed: “a winning bet” as declared by Alberto Franceschini, Export Sales Manager Jekko. It’s a real evolution of the species where the traditionally compact dimensions (6,75 x 2,14 x 3,45 metres – 265 ¾ x 122 ½ x 84 ¼ ) combine with increased extension capacity (up to 41 metres – 134 ft), very elevated lifting capacity (max 21.500 kg – 47.400 lb) and advantages in transport.   “We’ve won the first part of the bet – explains Mr Franceschini – which consisted in investing in an innovative product still not present on the market. We’ve developed a new machine, a stabilized crane truck on tracks that operates as if it was a minicrane. We’ve merged the experience deriving from the JF545 and the JF365 and have therefore responded to the market requirements for more performing yet compact-size machines. When compared to the dimensions of a truck, the JF990 still is a minicrane: compact, with variable stabilization modes and a dual engine, Diesel and electric. But above all it can reach 41 metres (134 ft) in height when using the hydraulic jib and three manual extensions or 38 metres (125 ft) with an operator basket, which means it can work where a truck cannot reach.   MULTIPLE OPERATING MODES The JF990 can work vertically or horizontally, it overcomes, goes round, uses the hook or the winch; it can also be equipped with a glass pane manipulator, a 3-person hydraulic platform in case of operation with a double articulated joint, and a 1- or 2-operator basket when using the jib to reach as high as 38 m. The hydraulic activation on the jib allows for any additional option to be installed.     NON-EXCEPTIONAL LOAD TRANSPORT The JF990 without counterweight can be transported on a regular truck without requiring an “exceptional load transport”. Its 21.800-kg (48.061-lb) weight is ideal when excellent performance is required from a minicrane able to work for all purposes as an articulated crane.       STANDARD AND EXTRA COUNTERWEIGHT This machine can use a 2,1-ton (4.630-lb) standard counterweight for stabilization on an area of 8,5 x 8,5 metres (28 x 28 ft) as well as a 3-ton (6.612-lb) extra counterweight reducing the crane footprint to an area of 7 x 7 metres (23 x 23 ft).  The disassembly system – a fast and automatic quick release system similar to that of much bigger cranes – is managed via the radio remote control.     SUPER ACCESSIBILITY IN CONFINED SPACES The JF990 has such features that it can be easily used instead of a tower crane or a crane vehicle but without being installed on a truck. This crawler crane is independent from its truck and reaches confined places having a major and positive impact on site logistic timing. It can be transported to and used on all those places where a truck cannot reach: industrial sites, small places, narrow city centres, fenced parks, etc.     ENDLESS HOISTING POSSIBILITIES Jekko has developed a software managing stabilization in endless combinations. Each outrigger can take any angle and extension and the software will continuously calculate the operating pressure considering the position of the outriggers and the deriving tilting line. Five stability levels will be displayed on the screen for a user-friendly reading of the loading charts. ONE CRANE, ONE OPERATOR This crane can be entirely managed by a single operator via the radio remote control, a true extension of the machine always at hand. Starting/stopping, crane operations, stabilization, jib or counterweight installation can be carried out by the operator all by himself. ENGINE: BOTH DIESEL AND ELECTRIC The JF990 is fitted with both a Deutz TCS3.6 L4 55 kW (Stage V, Tier 4) electronic Diesel engine and a 13 kW three-phase electric motor. Depending on the situations or the requirements, the operator can easily switch from one option to the other: the crane is very flexible and can be used indoors and outdoors. COMPETITIVE EDGE Such a versatile crane can be used in manifold situations: special hoisting, laying in confined areas both in yards (beams, balconies, glass panes, air conditioning systems, etc.) or in industrial environments (machinery of various size), maintenance, service, etc. The JF990 is the ideal machine for specialized hoisting companies – in order to complement their existing fleet of articulated truck cranes and city cranes – as well as for companies specialized in rental with or without operator notably for being easy to move by means of a non-oversized transport. “We intend to market this crane mainly in North America and in Central and Northern Europe, where there’s a large demand for machinery able to differentiate from other products – Mr Franceschini concluded. – I’m thinking of Norway as an example, where new regulations provide for a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions also for yard machinery starting from 2021. The JF990 can operate in electric mode therefore it brings many advantages in highly environmentally-friendly Countries. Rental will be another interesting segment because the JF990 has limited weight and excellent performance compared to similar cranes.”   Go to product page   TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF JEKKO JF990 • Overall dimensions: 6,75 x 2,14 x 3,45 metres (265 ¾ x 122 ½ x 84 ¼) • Max SWL: 21,5 ton (47.400 lb) • Stability area: 8,5 x 8,5 metres (28 x 28 ft) • Weight: 21.800 kg (48.061 lb) + 1.680 kg (3.704 lb) jib + 2,1 ton (4.630 lb) standard counterweight and 3 ton (6.612 lb) extra counterweight • Engine: Deutz 55 kW (Stage V, Tier 4) electronic Diesel + 13.5 kW three-phase motor • Max height (with Jib): 41 metres (134 ft) • Max reach (with Jib): 38 metres (125 ft) • Rotation: 360° continuous

SPX1280: No Limits
The new SPX1280, the versatile minicrane featuring endless options of stabilization You might see the world in black or white, or consider a glass always half-full or half-empty. But between the extremes there are endless options. This is the concept underlying the new SPX1280: beyond the limits, the world has no limits, and the operator turns into a painter whose palette offers all the colours of the rainbow and their endless combinations and nuances. From art to yard, the step seems far too long but it’s the principle that counts and makes everything easier. The SPX1280 encompasses new-generation technology that fully exploits the concepts of stability and hoisting. This results in straightforwardness and versatility for the operators to enjoy a new working experience and endless operating configurations, pushing to the extremes the concept of performance. A closer look at the characteristics and performance of the new SPX1280 will make you feel several light-years have gone since the launch of its predecessor, the SPX1275, that now gives way to Jekko’s newborn after long years of good and loyal service. This machine is a real blank page for the operator, who can use endless configurations to be exploited very easily, notably through a completely revised user interface – maintains Mauro Tonon, Export Sales Manager Jekko. – The SPX1280 has a maximum safe working load equal to 8 tons and reaches 26.6 m in height when the hydraulic jib is installed. Considering its weight, size and stabilization area, it’s no doubt the most performing machine within its sector. And of course the Pick & Carry mode for operation at 360° with a 2-ton load, Jekko’s trademark, is obviously available. ENDLESS OPERATING CONFIGURATIONS The governing technology of the new SPX1280 offers a completely new approach for the operator to manage different working situations. In the past the configurations that allowed to reach the stability required were extremely limited and affected the work dynamics; nowadays the combination of stabilization system, sensor technology, software and a new user interface generates endless working situations. The core of this crane is its new stabilization system – that makes the machine adapt to no matter what working environment – and the well-known hydraulic jib with three extensions that can be stowed either under or on the side of the main boom.   NEW STABILIZATION SYSTEM The stabilization system of the SPX1280 considers several factors in order to determine the possible working conditions. Depending on the opening angle and the extension of the stabilisers – as well as the possible use of the counterweight – the machine software can define in real time the maximum safe working load in a specific point. In the past this wasn’t possible at such an extent since partial extensions of the stabilizers and 0° to 45° intermediate angles couldn’t be taken into account. The stabilization degrees have increased from four to seven and their displaying on the interface is easier and user-friendly.   AN ADVANCED AND PRECISE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM With a new hydraulic system, this crane has smoother and more precise operation, which increases the operator’s feeling of control. This 100% electronically-operated supply system has been enhanced to offer new functions such as jib extension and arm lifting at the same time, smoother and more performing tracks, operation while combining four functions at a time.   REDUCED CONSUMPTION, HIGHER PERFORMANCE The SPX1280 features a 19kW Diesel engine fitted with a variable displacement pump that increases the efficiency of the whole unit while fully exploiting the engine power depending on the operation under way. This means better performance and reliability as well as considerable fuel reduction. The new engine (Stage V, Tier 4 Final) complies with the 2019 EU emission standards. EVERYTHING IN THE OPERATOR’S HANDS The SPX1280 is operated via a new user-friendly radio remote control designed by Jekko’s in-house team. Five configurations are possible: Pick & Carry, crane, stabilizers, crosspieces, and travel. A single radio remote control starts, configures and operates the machine and its tools: no more on-board controls, it’s everything in the operator’s hands.   COMPETITIVE EDGE In the constantly developing market of hoisting equipment, the new SPX1280 is a major evolution and sets the bar higher for what concerns technology innovation. Similarly its predecessor, the SPX1280 is used when height and load are elevated: laying of glazed panes, industrial maintenance and assembly, constructions and building, but its versatility can be better appreciated when hoisting is carried out in confined places. We’ve received orders covering all of 2019 and the first quarter of next year. Our overall production budget for this model in 2020 is of at least 40 units, – explains Mr. Tonon – several destined to Central Europe, the United States, the Middle East and China in addition to our traditional markets.    TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF JEKKO SPX1280 • Dimensions: 5730 x 1450 x 2040 mm • Stability area: 4600 x 4600 mm • Max SWL: 8000 kg • Weight: 7000 kg (optional tools excluded) + 1500 kg counterweight • Engine: Diesel D1105-E4B + single- or three-phase motor • Max height (with hydraulic jib and three extensions): 26.6 m • Max reach (with hydraulic jib and three extensions): 20 m • Rotation: 360° continuous   Go to product page
