SPX532: A New Generation of Mini Cranes
With the SPX532, the mini crane is even more intuitive and high performing Introducing SPX532, the new model of Jekko mini crane that marks a sea change between the old and new design system. A more intuitive, cutting edge and easy to use mini crane The Jekko mini crane “grows up” and takes a brand new direction in which concepts such as simplicity, immediacy, performance and efficiency come together in the same machine. We are talking about the new SPX532 – developed by the Italian company, an international leader in the mini crane sector – that incorporates important innovations such as a cutting-edge stabilising system, a sophisticated electronic and hydraulic system, greater ease of use, increased lifting capacity, an updated design and a new and user friendly radio remote control. The new SPX532 project is the result of having listened to the precise needs of an increasingly large and continuously evolving market, that of special lifting – explains Jekko Export Manager Alberto Franceschini – Our pioneering experience gained over twenty years in the mini crane sector, combined with comprehensive knowledge of the truck-mounted crane sector, has allowed Jekko to develop a product that combines sophisticated solutions used in the world of mobile cranes with the simplicity and sturdiness typical of truck-mounted cranes. The SPX532 signals a very important change in direction in the design and creation of new products, which will inevitably impact on the development of future products. Machines that are not only innovative and sophisticated as they were in the past, but also easy to use and available to an increasingly wide customer base. The result is the most intuitive mini crane of all time, able to guarantee high level performance. The largest mini crane in its segment able to pass through a single door, it offers substantial lifting capacity in relation to its weight, dimensions and stabilization area. Important new features include the 1 tonne hydraulic jib, the maximum height of which, at 17.3 metres, can be compared to that of a higher category of crane, and an updated design with more sophisticated and resistant materials, so a column reinforced with two pistons and a sump that are no longer in fibreglass but in steel.   NEW PERFORMANCE LEVELS The SPX532 stands out for its maximum lifting capacity of 3.2 tonnes. The biggest new feature is the possibility to lift using both the hookblock and hoist method. The stability system has been updated so that slewing goes from 0° to 90° for each outrigger (previously 0° to 45°); it is also possible to adjust outrigger tilting angle. This allows for more stabilization areas and more work areas, allowing the crane to work in conditions that would never have been possible before, all thanks to a sophisticated yet simple sensor system. NEW JIB POSITION The position of the resting jib is initially found inside the column, the jib easily installed thanks to an innovative hooking system. This means a significant reduction in jib installation and disassembly times. The operator can therefore decide to store the jib in three ways, the jib either at rest on the column, on the ground or resting under the main arm. The first two ways allow the operator to work with the main arm, the last with the jib installed, with the great advantage of not having to put it to rest until the work is finished (as was necessary with the previous versions). Thanks to a double pump, the jib also allows for simultaneous use of both the extension and angle functions, for greater flexibility and precision.   NEW HYDRAULIC SYSTEM The SPX532 is equipped with a sophisticated hydraulic system that allows the crane to work with smooth and extremely precise movements. This is possible thanks to the use of the digital hydraulic pump that, together with the control electronics and an intuitive radio remote control, allows for active dynamic control of the crane’s movements, so the customer can select the ideal work method based on site requirements.     USER FRIENDLY RADIO REMOTE CONTROL The new Jekko radio remote control is designed to be user friendly. All mini crane functions can be activated or deactivated directly via the radio remote control, using selectors that link to intuitive screens. Four different configurations can be selected on the radio remote control to facilitate the operator’s work and guide the various operations: pick & carry, crane, outrigger ascent and descent, belts and crossbeam slewing.   ENGINE: BOTH BATTERY AND DIESEL/ELECTRIC Always attentive to environmental issues, Jekko offers the best lithium battery solution available on the market, the fruit of five years of investment and research. The SPX532 is available in an “environmentally friendly” lithium battery version, top of the range in terms of its lifespan and charging speed. Alternatively, the SPX532 comes with a diesel engine combined with a single phase (220V – 2.2 kW) or three phase electric motor (400V – 5.5 kW). Depending on the workplace and requirements, the operator can easily switch from one solution to the other with significant flexibility of use.   TELEMETRY Thanks to the J-Connect system and the use of a data SIM, the SPX532 can be connected to the internet. Via a specifically created portal, the crane can be monitored remotely by the customer, vendor and Jekko technical support staff.     COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE Thanks to its numerous innovations, the SPX532 has already received significant interest at the recent 2019 edition of Bauma. The fact it is a simple and intuitive machine makes it ideal for both end users and rental fleets. It is the most high-performance single door crane (of width less than 80 cm) on the market and can be used for work in both confined spaces, particularly in the glass market, and open areas in the industrial maintenance and building sectors. It will be the most high-performing single door machine on the market – explains Jekko CEO Diego Tomasella – The SPX532 is the first mini crane created as part of the project to update the entire range and this result is possible thanks to the use of sophisticated materials and easily controlled electronics. Our markets of reference are primarily Germany, Holland and Belgium, followed by France, Spain, UK, Italy, Asia, the Middle East and America. Expectations are high and the numerous orders already received at Bauma confirm that we are moving in the right direction. BAUMA 2019: Innovation and Green Solutions
New products and technologies will be on display to showcase the increasingly innovative, green and user-friendly corporate range Three years after the last show, Jekko will be again an exhibitor at the Bauma expo with the aim of telling a brand new story where new products and technologies play the leading role. The director is the same: a young company whose target has always been the “active listening to customers” while implementing effective technologies and craftsmanship on a new range of products that increasingly turns innovative, green and user-friendly. Jekko’s exhibiting area – FS open-air area, stand 903/6 – will cover 512 square metres and will showcase all the new products of the Jekko world: the new JF990, the hybrid version of model SPX1280HYB, the full electric lithium-battery SPX532, just to mention a few; as for minipickers, the MPK06 and the MPK12 are a breakthrough in the sector of indoor building yards; the new and user-friendly interface of Jekko radio remote controls and the innovative J-Connect telemetry system for all the new Jekko mini cranes. Bauma will be the launching pad for a new merchandising line that will include a little showcase with products for sale, such as a scale reduction of a Jekko machine. A J-Connect area will be set up for dealers and visitors to meet and analyse the concepts of telemetry and user interface.   NEW PRODUCTS MINI SPIDER CRANES  The flagship model will be the SPX532 with a full electric lithium-battery motor. Also available with a diesel engine, the SPX532 is an ideal crane for indoor operation and for all those activities requiring a machine as little as to go through a single door. This mini crane is equipped with geometric control system and easier-friendly software designed in-house that make the operator’s work simpler. The Jekko radio remote control also has new features: a more user-friendly interface for easy and intuitive management of the countless options as well as automatic and fast functions for simpler operations. Jekko will also focus on the first hybrid version of a mini crane: the SPX1280HYB. This latter is the evolution of the SPX1275: it features a maximum load capacity increased from 7,500 to 8,000 kg and new hydraulic systems. With a 3-extension hydraulic JIB, the SPX1280 is one of Jekko’s most popular mini cranes. On Jekko’s stand at the Bauma expo there will also be an SPX312 and an electric lithium-battery SPX424, traditional models of the company.   JF SERIES Most of the show will be stolen by model JF990, which will be launched on the market as an evolution of the most successful JF545 and JF365. The new JF is a further generation of the previous models in the JF line that pioneers a new hoisting concept of articulated crane: the traditional truck-loader crane becomes a crawler crane. The JF990 is the world’s largest mini crane featuring a loading capacity of as much as 100 ton/m and, despite its dimensions, a weight not exceeding 23 tons. The machine can be equipped with a counterweight that raises the weight to 28 tons and, similarly to model JF545, it can work in both horizontal and vertical position, it can pass or dodge an obstacle, and it can operate in hook or winch more or with a selflevelling platform. In addition to model JF990, a JF40 will be on display in Jekko’s stand at the Bauma expo while a JF545 will be presented at Fassi’s stand (FN 926/2).   MINIPICKERS & TELE-CRAWLER CRANE During the Bauma expo Jekko will showcase the new models MPK06 and MPK12 having a 600-kg and 1,200-kg load capacity respectively. Both machines are equipped with 4 wheels instead of 3 and special tyres can be fitted for off-road operation. These pick&carry minipickers are the first having 100% electric actuators and those on display at the Bauma expo will be fitted with manipulators designed for handling and laying of glass panes. Finally, the SPK60 will also be present at Bauma: a tele-crawler crane with 6 ton of maximum capacity  and 3 tons of pick & carry.   VACUUM Building on its corporate experience in the glass handling sector and first worldwide in fitting vacuum manipulators to mini cranes, Jekko is going to unveil a new series of vacuum lifters for flat and curved glass panes. These vacuum lifters have a double pump with blow-off function for easier release.   J-CONNECT – TELEMETRY Jekko has invested on bidirectional connectivity for Internet connection of the mini cranes. Remote monitoring and assistance are available via a dedicated portal. This system is applicable to the JF series and to the traditional mini crane range.

Light and powerful: the new JF365
Following the success of the JF545, the market debut of a new, even more competitive, better performing and lighter model, thanks to the absence of a counterweight. The innovative and revolutionary drive of Jekko shows no signs of stopping, and following the commercial success of the JF545, the market sees the arrival of the new JF365. A model which re-interprets the concept of its “big sister”, but sets new challenges in terms of performance, compact size, multiple applications and versatility. The JF365 represents a further evolution of the species: it is even more competitive in terms of compactness and performance, thanks to the absence of a counterweight. Following the success of the JF545 – explained Alberto Franceschini, Sales Manager for Jekko – we decided to maintain the same format and the same configuration, substituting the crane element with one of Fassi’s best sellers, the F365, which operates in the same way as the 545 but without a removable counterweight, resulting in a more compact and lighter crane while offering the same performance. The reduced weight and dimensions allow the JF365 to operate in tight spaces such as town centres, in the industrial sector, for fittings in restricted work-site areas or in particular lifting situations close to walls, as rotation is confined to the area of the machine, without the bulk of the counterweight. The JF365 has a fixed base with a load capacity of 3 tons. It offers the same options as the JF545: Proportional radio controller, hydraulic activation for accessories, stability control with infinite possibilities for stabilisation, 1 smaller and lighter jib which allows for the installation of a platform on the main arm.   GO TO PRODUCT PAGE   Range of use The JF365 is a crane which can work either horizontally or vertically, overcoming and working around obstacles, with the use of either the hook or the winch. It is also possible to use a manipulator for sheets of glass, and either a 3-person hydraulic platform used with dual articulation or a 2-person basket with the jib, for heights of up to 29 metres. The hydraulic activation of the jib allows for the installation of any additional option. Super accessibility in tight spaces The founding concept is the bringing to the ground of equipment which is usually mounted on a truck. This allows for increased accessibility and a reduction in size, with a significant positive impact on logistics. It is therefore possible to transport and use an articulated crane in all areas which cannot be accessed by a truck, such as: industrial areas, town centres with narrow streets, fenced parks, etc. Infinite lifting possibilities Jekko has developed software which allows for the stabilisation of the crane via infinite combinations. Each stabiliser can be set as desired in terms of angle and extension. One of four stability levels is automatically calculated according to the position of the stabilisers and the consequential tipping axis, with 1 being the lowest level of stability and 5 the highest, with reference to four different classes of pressure One crane – one operator The crane can be managed entirely by a single operator thanks to the use of a radio controller, which is effectively an extension of the machine that is always within reach. This allows the operator to carry out all operations in complete autonomy: activation/deactivation, crane manoeuvres, stabilisation, jib integration. Motor: both diesel and electric The JF365 has both a 55 kW Kubota diesel engine, and a 13 kW three-phase electric motor. According to the situation and to requirements, the operator can easily switch between one or the other with considerable flexibility, for either internal or external use. Competitive advantages Such a versatile crane can be used in the most varied of situations: special lifting conditions, fitting operations in restricted work site spaces (beams, mezzanines, glass, air conditioning systems, etc.) or in industrial areas (machinery of varied size), maintenance and servicing. It is the perfect machine for companies which specialise in lifting, integrating an existing fleet of truck-mounted articulated cranes and city cranes, as well as for companies specialised in the rental of equipment with or without an operator. It is ideal for those specialising in niche operations, with high and extremely particular demands, but is suitable in general for all those wishing to exploit the typical advantages offered by an articulated crane in areas which are inaccessible for a truck. In general, the market demands smaller machines which offer the same lifting capacities as their larger counterparts, for obvious reasons of cost, potential, logistics, maintenance and ease of use. The new JF365 was created for this very reason. We will be launching this crane on the German, Scandinavian and central European markets, naturally without neglecting Italy – explained Franceschini – The JF365, and the JF545 before it, are cranes which are a great source of pride for us, as on an industrial level we were the first to introduce this revolution to the market and now many brands in the crawler market are following in our wake. This means that we have chosen the right direction, obviously following the philosophy of Made in Italy.   JEKKO JF365 characteristics Overall dimensions: w 1.8 m, l 5.5 m, h 2.7 m Maximum lifting capacity: 11.5 tons Weight: 12,300 kg + 700 (jib) Motor: 55.4 kW Kubota diesel + 13 kW three-phase electric motor Maximum height (with Jib): 29 m (cap. 550 kg) Maximum outreach (with Jib): 26.5 m (cap. 365 kg) Rotation: 360°

The new SPK60, one crane with two souls
One elegant soul perfect for working in tight spaces that require precision and accuracy; and another sporty and rock’n’roll soul for creating a great feeling with the operator on site and in all weather conditions. All this thanks to the innovative control software. Cranes also have a soul. In fact, they can sometimes have two: an elegant and symphonic one and a sporty and rock’n’roll one. Jekko has a crane with two souls and it’s called SPK60: the only one of its kind on the world market. The SPK60 was born in 2016 as a telescopic boom crawler crane with cab to be used mainly in confined and difficult spaces where millimetre-level precision and controlled movements are required. This formula was a success and gave the market something it was missing. After two years of experience on the field, our designers have made further improvements and enhancements to this winning project. The challenge? To give the SPK60 a sportier identity aimed at guaranteeing extraordinary performances and a great feeling with the operator, even in the harshest and most challenging weather and ground conditions. This led to the birth of the new SPK60, a 2.0 version of the previous one, which has two identities for every operating requirement: from precision manoeuvres in tight and enclosed spaces, to pick&carry operations on rough terrain and in the rain. All this thanks to the new version of the machine’s management software that gives the SPK60 a brand-new identity, or rather two identities. “We really wanted to enhance and develop the SPK60 in order to enrich the range of machines designed and produced for customers working in niche markets where Jekko has its Core Business,” explains Alberto Franceschini, Jekko Export Manager.  “It consists of a crane with two souls that will open up multiple market scenarios and sectors for us. We have already delivered this crane to Hong Kong, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, England and the United States, with the aim of strengthening our presence in the sector of large construction sites.” Main features   The “rock’n’roll” soul of the SPK60: a great feeling with the operator The “sporty and rock’n’roll” soul is expressed by a crawler picker and an excavator with a boom that can work in any construction site, on any type of terrain and inclination (up to 4 different degrees 0°, 0.7°, 1.5° and 3°). This mini-crane is equipped with extendible tracks without stabilisers, capable of lifting up to 3 tonnes in Pick&Carry mode and 6 tonnes in static mode and can reach a maximum height of 26.7 metres with jib. All this is made possible by the new innovative software that creates a great feeling with the operator for maximum stability. This stability is necessary as the crane rests on a maximum radius of 2.9 metres by 2.5 metres. The software allows electronically controlling the machine directly from the radio remote control unit provided, adapting itself to any operating situation and environment. This new version of the SPK60 is suitable for sectors such as construction sites, installation of metal structures and platforms and industrial maintenance, because the crane is equipped with a hydraulic manipulator for pipes and beams that guarantees extreme precision when handling and lifting materials at a height. It is also perfect for the installation of glass panes, especially in urban areas where small dimensions and high performances are required (the SPK60 can install glass panels on facades up to a height of nine floors). The mini-crane is extremely easy to transport and is only 5.8 metres long which makes it easy to unload from the body of a truck.   The “elegant” soul of the SPK60 for absolute precision When needed, the new SPK60 can take off its leather jacket and jeans and put on a jacket and tie.  Just ask the new control system. This is when the elegant soul appears, consisting of a telescopic crawler crane with cab and hydraulic jib – the longest in its category – extendible tracks and electric motor for working easily and smoothly in confined spaces. This type of machine can be used in a variety of different applications. In fact, it is suitable for the petrochemical industry, maintenance of nuclear/electric power stations, industrial maintenance and for all indoor, confined and tight spaces where stabilisers cannot be used, and also inside buildings where significant extensions are required. In fact, the hydraulic jib of this mini-crane can extend past the main boom by an additional 8.2 metres for a maximum height of almost 27 metres. The radio control unit allows it to be used like a classic mini-crane and to have all the working data displayed. In fact, the operator must always be close to the load to be lifted, thus increasing the precision of the work, reducing risks of communication between the installer and driver, and consequently reducing the presence of operators on site. The SPK60 also embraces the Jekko philosophy: One crane = One operator. Each operator can assemble and disassemble the crane components and accessories on their own. But the most important advantage is the automatic “table change” lifting system based on the slope of the ground. The crane automatically activates the relative table according to the slope of the ground in order to guarantee fluidity of the work, maximum safety and reduction in the time needed to manually confirm the new setting to the limiter, like most cranes available on the market. The SPK 60 is the only machine in its category that can close the jib in two different positions: Under the main boom so that customers who frequently use the jib do not have to install it every time. On the right side of the crane boom so that the jib is always on board the machine, ready for use. Ideal for customers who often use the main boom of the crane in pick&carry mode or at its maximum capacity. The machine weights are low: 12.2 tonnes, plus 1500 kg for the removable ballast.   Read case history Engine: diesel and electric The SPK60 has a Yanmar 53.7 kW/73 Hp diesel engine and, if necessary, can alternate with a three-phase (or single-phase) 11kW electric engine. Depending on the situation and requirements, the operator can easily switch from one solution to the other with extreme flexibility, both indoors and outdoors.   Competitive advantages This allows the crane to be used in many different situations and contexts, exploiting its two souls. For example, it can be used in interior spaces by taking advantage of jibs and radio remote control or by changing the software, and can also be used as a crane in large construction sites, with operator in the cab, keeping the tracks extendible and thus increasing the lifting capacity compared to similar machines. The cabin is extremely ergonomic and comes with a video camera for perfect rear vision, as well as a radio, air conditioning and ergonomic seat with wide visibility. It is not only comfortable, but also easy to use because the graphic display allows immediately recognising the accessories installed on the machine, thus allowing the automatic setting of the machine’s moment indicator. The software comes with a self-diagnosis system (DTC) for detecting any problems immediately and guaranteeing quick feedback from the Jekko after-sales service.   Options: Mechanical jib of 7.3 metres with maximum capacity of 1500 kg Hydraulic jib with 3 hydraulic extensions and a width of 8.27 metres and maximum capacity of 1500 kg. Possibility to work at a negative angle of 10 degrees, with both winch and hook. Short mechanical jib of 3500 kg on the main boom to work with both hook and winch. Radio-controlled hydraulic manipulator for moving pipes or beams. Hydraulic activation Rubber (geogrip) or steel tracks Three-phase or single-phase electric motor Pulley Front stabiliser bar (dozer blade) Object compartment Angle indicator Radio control unit Customised colour Simplified datasheet

The new JF545, evolution of the species
The latest arrival in the Jekko household, which revolutionizes traditional lifting systems by placing on tracks what has always been mounted on trucks: the articulated crane The marriage of two different concepts in the lifting field to open up new horizons and new application opportunities. That is the perspective that gave rise to the concept of the new JF545 by Jekko, which has been recently presented to the market with the clear objective of bringing together and transforming the field of mini cranes and articulated cranes. Because the new JF – developed by the Treviso Italy company that is a world leader in mini cranes in partnership with Fassi – changes the traditional lifting systems by putting onto tracks what has always been naturally mounted on trucks: the articulated crane. And as always, by changing perspective, one discovers a completely new world, and new scope, potential, infinite applications for an instrument that combines the strong points of different areas. “The mini crane culture” – Diego Tomasella the CEO of Jekko explains – “is taking an important step towards articulated cranes to present an innovative product that is simple to use, within reach of a wider market that is continuously searching for new solutions, in particular in the area of maintenance and service, in increasingly complex logistical and environmental contexts”.   The distinctive features Variety and vast scope It’s clear that using an articulated crane is an essential feature of this vehicle that has a double articulation of the basic arm to which a jib can be added that makes the joints three, permitting a variety and vast scope compared with the traditional mini crane with the typical telescopic arm with a chain system. The JF545 is a crane that can work horizontally, vertically, overtake, go round, use a direct hook or a winch. A 3-person hydraulic platform can also be used in conjunction with double articulation and a two-person basket can be used if the jib is used, for heights up to 31 metres.     Super accessibility in confined spaces The basic concept is to bring down to ground level everything that is normally used on a truck. This means having accessibility potential and reduction of overall dimensions with an important favourable impact on the logistics. You can take the crane to and use it in all those areas that a truck cannot access: industrial areas, confined spaces, narrow medieval streets, fenced-off parks and in general anywhere that a tracked articulated crane can access easily thanks to its reduced overall dimensions.   Infinite lifting possibilities The JF also uses a lifting moment limiter instead of the electronic limiter normally used on a mini crane. This greatly significantly simplifies use because the machine feedback is given on the pressure reference (max. 345 bar) and not on input/output software. Accordingly, when the machine is 100% stabilized it can use maximum pressure to work at 360 degrees. Alternatively, using the position of the stabilizers and of the resulting tip-over line, one of the four “stability levels” is calculated automatically, 1 being the minimum and 4 being the maximum level, with reference to four different classes of pressure. This means that the operator – with a very simple graphic output based on the four levels – can choose from infinite lifting possibilities according to the area of stabilization and, obviously, in compliance with the latest safety regulations.   Ballast: there is and there isn’t This machine is able to use ballast weighing 3500 kilos with an innovative automatic release system thanks to a tilting surface that intercepts the ballast hydraulically. Everything is radio-controlled. At this point, the operator just needs to remove the locking pins and release the ballast directly. This becomes extremely useful in situations of confined space and limited logistics when it is not necessary to use ballast. But that is not all, because once the ballast has been removed, the tilting surface can be used to load and transport up to 3500 kilos of suitably fixed and secured material.   One machine, one person One of the cornerstones of the Jekko philosophy that is also applied to this crane is that it can be completely managed by a single operator who can perform all the operations in complete safety, also thanks to the radio control that is an extension of the machine that is always ready to hand. This gives the operator complete independence to switch on/switch off, handle the crane and ballast, stabilize, supplement the jib: doing everything needed to get the most out of the crane. The radio control is latest generation, with a user-friendly graphic interface that enables innumerable options to be managed easily and intuitively, also thanks to the automotive-type menu selection wheel.     Both diesel engine and electric motor The JF545 has both a 55 Kw Kubota diesel engine and a 13 Kw three-phase electric motor. Depending on the situation and needs, the operator can easily switch from one solution to the other, with great flexibility, for both indoor and outdoor use.     The main applications and competitive advantage Such a versatile crane is used in the most widely varying circumstances: special lifting situations, placing items in confined spaces on construction sites (beams, suspended platforms, glass, air-conditioning systems, etc) or on industrial sites (machines of different sizes), maintenance and servicing. It can be the perfect machine for companies specializing in lifting that complements their existing range of truck-mounted articulated cranes and city cranes. But it is also the perfect machine for rental companies specializing in supplying operated and non-operated equipment. It can be ideal for those specializing in niche markets, with great and extremely specialized needs, but more generally for all those who want to exploit the typical advantages of an articulated crane in areas that are inaccessible for trucks. In general, the market requires cranes that are increasingly compact but have the same lifting capacity for obvious reasons of economy and cost, potential, logistics, maintenance and ease of use. The new JF545 has been created to cater for precisely these needs.

Fassi S.p.A. joins the new company Jekko s.r.l.
Jekko s.r.l. was established in January 2016 as a spin-off of the namesake brand – active for over 15 years in minicranes, minipickers and vacuum-lift cranes – from Ormet S.p.A., a manufacturer of handling and lifting equipment with a 40-year experience. Now Fassi S.p.A., Italian leading manufacturer and supplier of hydraulic cranes for installation on trucks, has joined the company to further boost development and expansion on the global market. Jekko s.r.l. is the Italian leading manufacturer of tracked minicranes and ranks third in the world. The company is headquartered in the province of Treviso, on the Venetian Alpine foothills; it currently covers a 5,000 sq. m. industrial estate – 3,000 indoors – which is soon going to be doubled. The company has 35 employees and its entire product range is exported and marketed in all 5 continents by over 30 official dealers. Over the last 3 years Jekko has been growing at leaps and bounds, exceeding 30% yearly, and this derives from a teamwork backing high-quality products,” maintains Diego Tomasella, President of Jekko. “We are now reaping the results from what we invested over years of research and development. In late 2016 we are going to open a new 11,000 sq. m. plant – 4,000 sq. m. of which are indoor – specially dedicated to the assembly and testing of our minicranes. The JEKKO product line dates back to the late 1990s, when the first minicranes and made-to-order special machines were designed and manufactured. The Jekko Minicrane brand was born in 2006, when a dedicated production plant was opened. Nowadays JEKKO is a young business, supported by a professional technical department, reliable training and after-sales services as well as a sales and marketing office operating on all foreign markets. Giovanni Fassi, Managing Director of the Fassi S.p.A. group, points out that: The market potential of these machines is no doubt interesting,” and adds that “the entire staff of the company is determined to seize all chances that will turn up in years to come.
